Child Advocacy Nigerian Initiative Set to Organize Schools Motivational Tour in Kaduna

Child Advocacy partners with CLEDA AFRICA towards the ongoing Continental Educational Tour.

"Continental Schools Motivational Tour" in 20 African countries, was launched in Zaria, Kaduna State Nigeria on the 22nd of June, 2016 at CTC Academy, initiated by CLEDA AFRICA. 

Child Advocacy Nigerian Initiative is a non-governmental Organization saddled with the responsibility to improve the lives of children through powerful volunteer advocacy ensuring that each child is placed in a safe environment and providing a voice for an abused and neglected child.

As a strong and non-partisan voice for the rights of children, Child Advocacy Nigerian Initiative makes it a point of duty to see that every Nigerian Child has his or her right protected and Implemented.

To this end, the organisation is concerned about the level of underdevelopment of youths and the low quality of education in Nigeria. In the words of a keynote member of the organisation, "We are concerned about the increasing rate of unemployment amongst university graduates. We are concerned about the inability of our educational system (in most cases), to produce self-confident, self-reliant, self-dependent, self-inspired and motivated graduates (This has been proven by the increasing rate of application statistics across the country and Africa at large)."

To compliment the effort of the government and other stakeholders in shaping the educational system, Child Advocacy is organising a 'School Motivational Tour' in Kaduna state covering four different secondary Schools to equip the schools, motivate and empower the teachers and inspire the students, as well as build a network of teachers across the continent to share best practice, ideas, information and build skills. This tour is estimated to directly impact 1000students, 200teachers, 4 schools in Kaduna State, the anticipated result of this tour among others, shall include the emergence of great schools, great teachers, great students/graduates, great Nation and a great continent, all vying for a great future.
